I would add to the other comments by saying that since this archive is a public archive, one should take the initiative and create higher quality encodes if that's what they desire. Find the original material yourself and then make the higher quality encode for others and upload it. This website works almost entirely off of volunteer labor and efforts. That said, I agree that "Cinepack" is misleading since the final product doesn't use Cinepack encoding, and it could lead people who are familiar with older versions of Quicktime (which used the Cinepack codec often) to think that the files might be compatible with their older computers, when in fact it would not.
